Trenton Athletic Club has been serving the Downriver community for 37 years and has adapted to the constant changing fitness industry. The Trenton Athletic Club began as Racquet King Courts in 1978 when racquetball was booming. John, Paul and Vince Finazzo built a 14 court facility that was extremely busy and successful. The facility included 14 racquetball courts, whirlpools, saunas, child care, exercise area, complete locker room facilities and bar.
As the times changed and racquetball popularity declined along with tough economy, the club changed and began a new era in 1984. The club name was changed to Trenton Athletic Club in 1984. The fitness era started to grow and the club underwent many changes. Aerobics, cardio equipment, and new weight equipment became popular and changed the industry forever.
Today Trenton Athletic Club is a complete athletic club offering a wide variety of strength training, cardiovascular equipment, group fitness classes, racquetball, squash, wallyball, basketball, whirlpool, saunas, child care, hair salon, physical therapy, pro-shop, banquet facility, massage therapy and many programs to service our members and guests.
